Job summary

Producers Rice Mill in Pine Bluff, AR seeks a Safety Sensitive Maintenance Supervisor. Responsibilities include assisting the dryer manager, maintaining equipment, and supervising staff to maintain a clean, safe, productive facility.

• Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, twist, turn, push, and pull throughout the day.
• Must be willing and able to lift to 100 lbs.
• Must be willing and able to use dust protection equipment.
• Must be willing and able to work in adverse weather conditions for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to work control panel.
• Must be willing and able to ride a man lift.
• Must have 3 years of maintenance experience, which includes welding, cutting, and equipment repair.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Must be willing and able to follow all Safety and Food Safety rules.
• Other duties as requested by Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Assist dryer manager with facilities and personnel management, including equipment use and maintenance.
• Maintain timely and accurate records of inbound receipts and outbound shipments.
• Oversee sanitation and housekeeping to keep a clean, safe work environment.
• Supervise personnel and ensure time worked is recorded and policies followed.
• Communicate safety concerns to management to ensure OSHA compliance.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm, overtime as needed, including nights and weekends. MUST be able to work 12-hour night shift during harvest season.

Basic Job Duties:

Assist dryer manager with all aspects of facilities and personnel management, including proper use and maintenance of equipment, timely and accurate records of inbound receipts and outbound shipments, sanitation, and housekeeping. Personnel supervision will include maintaining a clean, safe and productive work environment while keeping accurate records of time worked for each employee. The supervisor will be responsible for upholding corporate policies and communicating any personnel or safety concerns with management to ensure compliance with labor law, OSHA and other regulatory standards.
