Job summary

Producers Rice Mill is seeking a Safety Sensitive position to assist the dryer manager with facilities and personnel management. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, records for receipts and shipments, sanitation, and ensuring a safe, productive environment.

• Must possess basic math skills.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with no citations in the last 12 months.
• Must be over the age of 21.
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language fluently.
• Must be willing and able to climb up to 200 ft.
• Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, twist, turn, push, and pull throughout the day.
• Must be willing and able to lift to 100 lbs.
• Must be willing and able to use dust protection equipment.
• Must be willing and able to work in adverse weather conditions for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to work control panel.
• Must be willing and able to ride a man lift.
• Must have 3 years of maintenance experience, which includes welding, cutting, and equipment repair.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE.
• Must be willing and able to follow all Safety and Food Safety rules.
• Other duties as requested by Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Assist dryer manager with facilities and personnel management.
• Maintain proper use and maintenance of equipment and records of inbound receipts and outbound shipments.
• Oversee sanitation and housekeeping; ensure a safe, productive work environment.
• Keep accurate time records for each employee and report to management.
• Communicate safety concerns to management to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Uphold corporate policies and compliance with OSHA and other standards.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm, overtime as needed, including nights and weekends. MUST be able to work 12-hour night shift during harvest season.

Basic Job Duties:

Assist dryer manager with all aspects of facilities and personnel management, including proper use and maintenance of equipment, timely and accurate records of inbound receipts and outbound shipments, sanitation, and housekeeping. Personnel supervision will include maintaining a clean, safe and productive work environment while keeping accurate records of time worked for each employee. The supervisor will be responsible for upholding corporate policies and communicating any personnel or safety concerns with management to ensure compliance with labor law, OSHA and other regulatory standards.

• Must have 3 years of on-the-job supervisory experience.
