Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an Operations Manager – Non-Residential in Riviera Beach to lead all non-residential manufacturing activities, including safety, quality, staffing, and continuous improvement. You will drive production schedules, Lean initiatives, and cost management while ensuring customer delivery commitments and a safe, compliant work environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of manufacturing leadership, with strong teamwork, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, industrial production, or distribution environment.
• 3+ years of experience managing supervisors, production teams, or operational departments.
• Experience leading pipe fabrication, steel fabrication, fire protection fabrication, manufacturing, welding, or industrial production operations preferred.
• Strong understanding of production planning, process management, quality systems, and operational performance metrics.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or similar operational excellence methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safety, Quality & Compliance: Champion a safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, safety policies, and industry standards.
• Operational Leadership: Lead all operations including pipe cutting, assembly, testing, packaging, and shipping activities.
• People Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, team leads, and fabrication associates to build a high-performing workforce.
• Continuous Improvement & Performance Management: Apply metrics, root cause analysis, and data-driven decisions to improve performance.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Engineering, Inventory, Transportation, Finance, and HR to support objectives.
