Labcorp is seeking a Non-Registered Technician to join our Seattle, WA team. Work Schedule: Saturday-Wednesday 11PM-7:30AM, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include specimen acceptability, performing routine and complex procedures, instrument troubleshooting, and reporting results to support patient care. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a chemical/biological science and ability to pass color vision tests.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
• Proficient with computers.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs.

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to SOPs.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
• Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
• Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls.
• Report accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care.
• Process specimens for the microbiology test requested.
• Perform preventative maintenance and quality control procedures.
• Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary.
• Assist with processing of specimens when needed.

LabCorp is seeking a Non-Registered Technician to join our team in Seattle, WA. Work Schedule: Saturday-Wednesday 11PM- 7:30AM

Job Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
• Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving
• Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls
• Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care
• Process specimens for the microbiology test requested
• Perform and document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures
• Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
• Assist with processing of specimens when needed
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology

Additional Job Standards

• Proficient with computers
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• High level of attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs

Pay Range: $23.43-37.22 Plus 3rd shift differential All job offers will bebased on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience and the terms of the collective bargaining agreement between Dynacare Northwest, Inc. and United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 21.
