OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician responsible for managing patient care in cardiovascular medicine. The role includes evaluating patients, ensuring compliance with standards, and contributing to service quality and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and leadership skills, with a commitment to evidence-based practices.
Duties: Responsible for the evaluation and management of patients in the specialty of noninvasive cardiovascular medicine using evidence-based best practices. This includes appropriate referrals to specialists, ordering diagnostic tests and procedures deemed medically necessary to improve patient health. Participate in standardizing noninvasive cardiovascular services to enhance operational efficiency and patient care. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, maintain licensure, and proper documentation. Maintain affiliations with professional groups and represent OhioHealth Physician Group positively. Practice noninvasive cardiovascular medicine as clinically privileged by the hospital. Support cost-effective operations and efficient patient care. Analyze performance data to improve operational outcomes. Develop protocols, policies, and procedures to enhance service quality. Contribute to quality standards and indicators. Assist in recruiting physicians and supervising/educating staff, students, residents, and fellows. Support marketing and growth strategies, including public speaking. Work may be required at practice sites in Shelby and Ashland, Ohio.
Requirements: MD/DO, Ohio medical license, DEA license, BC/BE in internal medicine, ability to become BC/BE in cardiology by 8/1/26, knowledgeable about current best practices and evidence-based care in non-invasive cardiovascular medicine, and demonstrated clinical and leadership abilities.
