Job summary

AMN Healthcare is assisting with locum tenens coverage for a Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician in Lincoln, NE. Start date ASAP; 24-hour call shifts from 7am to 7am with on-call pay. No clinic work; emergencies directed to a regional center. Credentialing typically 60–90 days; EMR is Epic.

Board-certified or eligible candidates required, with BLS and ACLS. Nebraska license is required to practice. Malpractice insurance is arranged; travel and lodging support provided as part of the locum package.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or eligibility in cardiology.
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support required.
• Nebraska licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Rounding and consults; no clinic.
• 24-hour call shifts, 7a–7a.
• Manage on-call duties with all emergencies routed to Nebraska Heart Hospital.

They will be rounding and doing consults (no clinic). They do not have a cath lab so any emergencies or cardiac procedures are sent to Nebraska Heart Hospital.
