Job summary

A Non-Invasive Cardiologist position in Phoenix, AZ combines outpatient clinic duties with hospital coverage in a balanced practice. The role features a clear 2-year partnership track and no cath lab responsibilities, with a mix of clinic and hospital days and NP-supported call.

Open to new graduates and experienced cardiologists, the opportunity emphasizes medical management, preventive care, and EKG/stress test interpretation within an established private practice setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
• Appropriate training to practice Non-Invasive Cardiology
• Ability to interpret EKGs and stress tests
• New graduates and experienced cardiologists are welcome

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient cardiology consultations and longitudinal care in the clinic
• Round on and manage hospitalized cardiology patients
• Interpret EKGs and stress tests
• Interpret additional non-invasive studies (such as vascular imaging, PET, or TEE) consistent with training - a plus, not a requirement
• Manage coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension, arrhythmias, valvular disease, and preventive cardiology
• Provide pre-operative cardiac risk assessment and clearance
• Collaborate with interventional cardiology colleagues for coordinated care
• Participate in shared call rotation, including weekend rounding with NP support
• Document care in Epic and contribute to patient outcomes and growth
