Job summary

Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible academic Cardiologist to join the Cardiology Section. The role includes inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care, teaching fellows, and collaboration with the University of Colorado for potential faculty appointment.

The successful candidate will focus on heart failure or advanced cardiac imaging and participate in research, education, and clinical care in a VA setting.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in cardiology and eligible for VA appointment.
• Academic affiliation with a medical campus is anticipated.
• Full, unrestricted medical license in the United States required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care, including consults.
• Attend noninvasive labs (echocardiography, stress testing, imaging) as appropriate.
• Educate and supervise fellows, trainees, and advanced practice providers.
• Engage in clinical research or health services research in cardiovascular disease.
