Qualifications

• BC/BE cardiologist with demonstrated skills in cardiovascular disease.
• Clinically oriented with research and teaching experience to be eligible for academic appointment.
• Communicate effectively and work with a large multidisciplinary program.
• Participation in teaching and Fellowship programs.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Virginia.
• Commitment to respect, professionalism and civility for all faculty, staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching directly via interactions with Medical Assistant trainees and students, and participate in CME programs.
• Support clinical research protocols as needed.
• Participate in quality, safety, and efficiency initiatives.
• Focus on imaging, outpatient and consultative services.
• Submit billing and document care as required; abide by medical staff requirements.
