Job summary

Apex Heart and Vascular Care is seeking a non-invasive cardiologist to join and lead our expanding team outside NYC in New Jersey. The role offers an employed model with a potential directorship and a strong affiliation with tertiary and community hospitals to deliver a full range of cardiovascular care.

You will teach medical students, residents, and fellows in an ACGME-accredited program, participate in a large in-house diagnostic testing facility, and enjoy a competitive base salary with

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiology.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology.
• NJ Medical license and CDS/DEA numbers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the non-invasive cardiology service line and coordinate patient care across affiliated hospitals.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in an ACGME-accredited program.
• Engage in academics and contribute to potential directorship activities.

• Independent practice with strong affiliation with tertiary care hospitals that provides a full range of cardiovascular medicine, as well as a local community hospital

• Offices offer a broad array of cardiovascular services: Noninvasive, Invasive, Peripheral Vascular, Interventional, and Structural heart

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $460,000.00 per year base plus bonus

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates should be Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiology, Board Certified/Eligible in Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology, have or apply for a valid NJ Medical license, and obtain a valid CDS and DEA number.
