Job summary

ShopRite of Bound Brook is seeking a Non-Foods Manager to direct and supervise all functions of the Non-Foods Department, leading staff to achieve sales, profit, and customer experience goals. You will ensure safety, presentation, and efficiency in daily operations, coordinate with store leadership, and uphold company service priorities.

The role requires leadership in onboarding, training, and performance feedback, with emphasis on teamwork, courteous customer service, and adherence to policies

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for a full shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 60 lbs. and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions and activities of the Non-Foods Department.
• Aim to achieve department goals (sales, profit, customer experience, associate engagement).
• Uphold ShopRite service priorities: Safety, Friendliness, Presentation, Efficiency.
• Supervise safety, QA, and compliance programs within the department.
• Lead and train associates to maintain high standards and teamwork.
