Job summary

ShopRite of Hackensack is seeking a Non-Foods Manager to lead the department and its Associates, ensuring sales, profitability, and a superior Customer Experience. The role reports to the General Store Manager and emphasizes safety, presentation, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will supervise daily operations, train new staff, and uphold the company priorities while managing inventories and displays with a focus on Customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to perform basic math and operate typical store systems.
• Ability to stand/walk for entire shifts and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to supervise and lead Associates to meet department goals.
• Ability to work with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions of the Non-Foods Department.
• Lead Associates to achieve department goals and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and product presentation standards.
• Oversee pricing, inventory, and in-store displays.
• Provide onboarding, training, and ongoing feedback to staff.
