Job summary

SA Recycling is seeking a Non-Ferrous Operations Supervisor to oversee unloading, inspection, processing and disassembly of non-ferrous scrap. You will manage inventory, lead the operations team, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering high-quality material to customers.

The role requires experience with forklifts/bobcats, Excel/Rimas/Power BI, and strong communication. Outdoor work in variable weather is expected, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience grading and handling non-ferrous metals.
• Knowledge of non-ferrous marketing and inventory management.
• Experience operating forklifts and bobcats.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Rimas, and Power BI.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and work with an operations team.
• Bi-lingual English and Spanish a plus.
• Must have computer knowledge and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Unload, inspect, process, and disassemble non-ferrous scrap.
• Manage non-ferrous inventory for accuracy and efficiency.
• Support marketing and sales initiatives for non-ferrous.
• Lead and assist the operations team in daily activities.
• Safely load trailers using proper techniques.
• Operate forklifts and bobcats per safety standards.
• Maintain records and prepare reports in Excel/Power BI.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report defects.
