Job summary

SA Recycling seeks a dependable Non-Ferrous Operations Supervisor to oversee unloading, inspecting, processing, and disassembly of various non-ferrous scrap metals. The role includes yard maintenance, safety compliance, and coordinating with customers and vendors to ensure quality material for shipment.

The position requires leadership in daily tasks and strong data skills. Work is outdoors in varying weather; familiarity with Excel, Rimas, and Power BI is a plus for reporting and maintaining

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Grade and identify non-ferrous metals accurately.

• Safely load van trailers and dump trailers using proper loading techniques.
• Operate forklifts and bobcats in accordance with company safety standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams via phone and email.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Rimas, and Power BI to maintain records, analyze data, and prepare reports.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with other operational duties as assigned.
• Perform daily inspections on equipment reporting any defects or needed repairs to management

Job description

SA Recycling is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Non-Ferrous Operations Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of non-ferrous metals, inventory management, and daily operations while maintaining our commitment to safety, customer service, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for the unloading, inspecting, processing, and disassembly of various types of non ferrous scrap metal; yard clean up and maintenance; and other general physical labor duties in non ferrous to ensure the highest quality of scrap material is processed and shipped to our customers in a safe, effective manner.

We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused professional who is ready to make an immediate impact and contribute to the continued success of SA Recycling.

This position will work outside in varying weather conditions, and SA Recycling strictly adheres to all Metals Recycling Business Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Rimas, and Power BI.

• Ability to learn new tasks as assigned required
• Knowledge of proper loading procedures for van trailers and dump trailers.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Provide backup or assistance throughout the yard as needed
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus
• Must have computer knowlege
• Must pass Credit/ background check
• Must pass preemployemnt physical and drugscreen

Hours:

Monday to Friday 8-4 Saturday 8-12

Hourly Rate:

pay is negotiable depending on experience and availablity
