Now Hiring: Non-Ferrous Downstream Technician
Location: New Castle, PA
Company: Weitsman Recycling
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday-Friday (Weekends as needed)

Weitsman Recycling, a leader in the metal recycling industry, is seeking a Non-Ferrous Downstream Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, sort, and grade non-ferrous metals such as copper, brass, and aluminum

• Operate downstream equipment (shears, balers, conveyors)

• Maintain accurate material documentation

• Ensure a clean and safe working environment

• Work effectively with team members to meet production goals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience in scrap, recycling, or industrial environments preferred

• Knowledge of non-ferrous metals is a strong plus

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions

• Forklift or skid steer experience a bonus
