Job summary

Hospital to Home LLC in Richmond, VA seeks a responsible Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver to provide safe, dignified transport for patients with limited mobility, including wheelchair or stretcher assistance. You’ll be part of a care team discharging or transporting to appointments, with emphasis on compassion and professionalism.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid VA driver’s license, be 21 or older, and be prepared to obtain BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; valid state driver’s license; clean driving record.
• Ability to lift, push, and maneuver patients and equipment safely.
• BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher between homes, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient centers.
• Operate company vehicles in accordance with safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Assist patients in and out of vehicles with care and dignity.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and trip documentation.
• Follow infection control and HIPAA/privacy protocols.

Our Non-Emergency Medical Transport Drivers are the first and last point of contact for many patients—and their kindness and professionalism make all the difference.Position Summary:We are looking for a responsible, courteous, and patient-centered Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide safe, reliable, and dignified transportation for individuals with limited mobility, including those requiring wheelchair or stretcher assistance.
