Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience reading engineering blueprints with GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Hands-on experience with precision measurement tools in manufacturing/inspection.
• Ability to teach metrology concepts to beginners.
• Familiarity with CAD software and quality documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction across topics including drawing standards and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Lead hands-on labs using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gaging tools.
• Plan blended in-class/online lectures and labs (theory + lab hours weekly).
• Design projects and real‑world inspection scenarios; assess student progress.
• Maintain records, safety procedures, and timely feedback on work.
