York County Community College (YCCC) is seeking a qualified Contract Instructor to deliver short-term, industry-aligned training in GD&T, precision measurement, and CMM layout for adult learners and incumbent workers.
The instructor will prepare participants to interpret engineering drawings, apply GD&T principles, and perform dimensional inspections using traditional tools and CMM technologies, collaborating with YCCC’s Workforce Development team and employer partners.

BARGAINING UNIT / SALARY LEVEL: This is a Contract, non-benefited position located at our Sanford Center of Excellence for Manufacturing & Trades in Sanford, ME with a pay range of $40 - $55 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
Class schedule is flexible based on training cohorts and employer demand (evening and/or weekends possible).
York County Community College (YCCC) is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Contract Instructor to deliver short-term, industry-aligned training in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Precision Measurement, and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Layout. This contract position supports local and regional employers in advanced manufacturing and defense-related industries by preparing participants with the technical knowledge and hands‑on skills needed to interpret engineering drawings, apply GD&T principles, and perform accurate dimensional inspections using both traditional precision measurement tools and CMM technologies.
