Job summary

Middlesex College seeks part-time, non-credit ESL instructors to teach across Edison, New Brunswick, and Perth Amboy campuses. Courses include ESL Level I–IV certificates and Conversational English, Reading and Writing for ESL.

Positions are pooled for flexible day, evening, and weekend availability. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, prior teaching experience, and experience with adult learners and ESL populations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; experience teaching adults preferred.
• Experience teaching ESL to adult learners and working with ESL populations.
• Ability to teach evenings, weekends, or days at Edison, New Brunswick, or Perth Amboy campuses.

Responsibilities

• Teach ESL courses one to many learners across campus locations.
• Prepare and assess non-credit ESL coursework and certificates.
• Contribute to curriculum development and student success initiatives.

• Familiarity with teaching Online via Zoom and/or CANVAS
