Job summary

Bucks County Community College is seeking qualified ESL instructors for day, evening, campus locations (Newtown, Bristol, Perkasie), and online courses. The role involves teaching ESL across reading, writing, speaking, and listening, delivering engaging lessons, and maintaining student records.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s in TESOL or related field (or TESOL-certified with a BA). Master’s degree preferred; experience with SMART tech and online platforms encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with a TESOL certification.
• Must also have the ability to communicate effectively in English (native or near-native proficiency).
• Experience with SMART technology and online learning platforms is highly desired.

Bucks County Community College is seeking qualified individuals to join our team of talented ESL instructors for both day and/or evening courses. We are seeking instructors for all three campuses (Newtown, Bristol, and Perkasie) as well as online.

Responsibilities

• Instruct ESL students across all four domains of English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening.)


• Create and deliver effective lessons that engage students.


• Teach according to established course objectives.


• Maintain accurate student records (attendance, contact information, etc.)


• Attend meetings and professional development workshops to develop instructional skills.


• Work collaboratively with other ESL instructors.
