Job summary

Linn-Benton Community College is seeking a Lead Non-credit Enrollment Specialist – 50% for Extended Learning. This front-line leadership role focuses on guiding non-credit registration, training PTNC staff, and coordinating systems to create a smooth experience for returning and new students.

The position includes supervising PTNC staff, collaborating with departments, and driving outreach to sustain enrollment growth. A strong background in education services and FERPA compliance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of five years’ full-time experience related to education, student services, training, or career planning.
• AA/AS degree or vocational certification in business, secretarial, accounting or related area may substitute for two years of experience.
• Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in registration or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a primary point of contact for returning non-credit students and new Extended Learning participants.
• Answers questions about programs and services via phone, email, and in person.
• Registers students for classes and clients for services.
• Assists students and staff with registration systems, procedures, and policies.
• Works with Banner Modules and Laserfiche to support students and cross-site research.
• Leads process development and quality improvements for onboarding and registration.
• Coordinates staff workloads, training, and coverage during business hours and peak activity.
• Leads outreach and retention efforts to increase enrollment and revenue.
• Ensures FERPA compliance in data handling and communications.
