Job summary

Linn-Benton Community College is seeking a Learn & Earn student employee to assist with outreach, recruitment, retention projects and campus communications. You will support Admissions events, orientation activities and community events on and off campus.

Position requires ongoing LBCC enrollment (6+ credits) and satisfactory academic progress. Evening hours and occasional travel to offsite recruitment activities may be required; background checks and residency requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Must maintain enrollment in at least 6 credits at LBCC , maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout each term and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better to be eligible for Learn & Earn student employee capacity.

Responsibilities

• Assist departments with outreach, recruitment and retention projects.
• Assist with reception duties in First Resort; respond to student and staff inquiries and prepare communications.
• Support Admissions by serving as a tour guide and participating in high school and community events.
• Coordinate new student orientation with Counseling and Career Center staff.
• Assist with community events such as Youth Job Fair and Career Fair.
• Monitor postings and coordinate bulletin boards and campus event information.
• Operate LB Lunch Box and other duties as assigned.
