Job summary

Colorado Mountain College is seeking educators for non-credit Community Education programs in Colorado. Compensation is based on Pay Levels 1-5, with new faculty wages ranging from $20 to $60 per hour, determined by campus supervisors based on expertise and demonstrated instructional evidence.

Ideal candidates are bilingual English/Spanish or have conversational language abilities and must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Equivalent education/experience to perform duties in continuing education teaching.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned by designated supervisor.
• Prepare appropriate lesson plans for each course.
• Develop professional relationships with students and staff to foster communication.
• Assist in recruitment of students as appropriate.
• Assist in evaluating curriculum and instructional performance.
• Represent the college in a professional manner within the community.
• Complete mandatory annual training (e.g., Title IX, Digital Accessibility, Data Security and Privacy).
• Perform other duties as required.
