Colorado Mountain College invites applications for its non-credit Community Education program, offering hourly pay from $20 to $60 and pay levels 1–5. Teaching load and compensation are set by campus leadership and based on expertise and evidence in the instructional area.

Ideal candidates are bilingual (English/Spanish) or have conversational abilities, with a focus on welcoming students and community members, preparing lesson plans, and delivering engaging classes.

Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience to perform the duties in continuing education/community education.

Responsabilités

• Teach courses as assigned by the designated supervisor.
• Prepare appropriate lesson plans for each course in accordance with approved outcomes.
• Develop a professional relationship with students and staff to encourage communication.
• Assist in recruitment of students as appropriate.
• Contribute to curriculum evaluation and instructional performance.
• Represent the college professionally in the community and district.
• Complete required annual CMC trainings (e.g., Title IX, Digital Accessibility, Data Security and Privacy).
• Other duties as assigned.
