Job summary

Colorado Mountain College in Colorado is seeking instructors for non-credit Community Education. Pay levels range from 1-5, with new faculty earning $20–$60 per hour. The college emphasizes student success, inclusivity, and professional representation in the community.

Preferred candidates may be bilingual English/Spanish. This position requires working within the State of Colorado and reporting work location accurately for compliance purposes; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

An equivalent/applicable combination of education and/or experience to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position required with teaching in continuing education or community education.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) or conversational language abilities preferred.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Teaching responsibilities expected of all faculty include teaching course load as assigned.
To teach classes as assigned by designated supervisor.
To prepare appropriate lesson plans for each course in accordance with approved course outcomes.
To develop a relationship with students & staff that is professional and encourages teacher/student communication.
To assist in the recruitment of students, as appropriate.
When agreed upon, and as appropriate, to assist in the evaluation of curriculum and instructional performance.
To represent the college in a professional manner throughout the communities and college district by promoting a positive public image.
To complete all required annual CMC training courses. Ex. Title IX, Digital Accessibility, and Data Security and Privacy.
Other duties as assigned.
