Qualifications

• Licensure: Certification not required; sit for certification within first year; BLS/CPR certificates required for staff depending on role; renewal with grace period.
• Experience: Previous clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine patient examinations and procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms and restock supplies.
• Record vital signs and medical histories.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage flow.
• Assist with pharmacy tasks including prescriptions and log maintenance.
• Provide patient instructions for medications and follow-up care.
• Perform CLIA-waived testing and phlebotomy as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy compliance.
• Ensure clinic safety and assist with mobility where needed.
• Assist with inventory management and interdepartmental coverage.
• Facilitate communication between patients and providers.
• Obtain prior authorizations.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a positive clinic environment.
• Chart preparation and documentation (immunizations, labs, referrals).
