AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is hiring for a part-time Ambulatory Surgery Center role in East Orlando to support endoscopy procedures under supervision. The position involves instrument handling, disinfection, and room prep with emphasis on patient care.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, days, with possible call hours. Requires BLS; CNA preferred; High School diploma; fluent English and strong communication. Work environment can be high-stress and fast-paced.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor endoscopy instruments and supplies levels.
• Follow disinfection procedures and chemical/biological monitoring.
• Assist with treatments under supervision of RN/physician.
• Prepare endoscopy room with supplies and equipment.
• Handle specimens accurately.

Job Description:

Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.

This role is in our Ambulatory Surgery Center located in our East Orlando location.

Schedule: Monday- Friday (variable Days/ Hours) flexibility is required.

• Monitors levels of all endoscopy instruments and supplies.
• Follows written procedures for high-level disinfection and chemical and biological monitoring.
• Performs treatments and procedures within the defined scope of practice. Provides supportive care to patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and physician.
• Ensures the endoscopy suite is adequately prepared for procedures. Prepares the room in a timely manner with all anticipated supplies and equipment for each endoscopy procedure.
• Demonstrates competence in the care and accurate handling of specimens.
