Qualifications

  • Performs treatments under supervision of a nurse/physician.

  • Handles specimens with care and accuracy.

Job Description

Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.

This role is in our Ambulatory Surgery Center located in our East Orlando location.

Schedule: Monday- Friday - 6:30 am- 5 pm (flexibility is required)

  • Monitors levels of all endoscopy instruments and supplies.
  • Follows written procedures for high-level disinfection and chemical and biological monitoring.
  • Performs treatments and procedures within the defined scope of practice. Provides supportive care to patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and physician.
  • Ensures the endoscopy suite is adequately prepared for procedures. Prepares the room in a timely manner with all anticipated supplies and equipment for each endoscopy procedure.
  • Demonstrates competence in the care and accurate handling of specimens.

  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills. [Required]

Education

  • Technical/Vocational School [Preferred]
Work Experience
  • 1+ work related experience [Preferred]
Licenses And Certifications
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
  • Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) [Preferred]

Pay Range

$17.28 - $27.65
