Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, WA is seeking a Per diem/On-call Non-Certified Chaplain to provide professional spiritual care to patients, families, and caregivers across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and preferred a Master’s in Theology or related field with 2 CPE units and at least one year of pastoral experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Master's Degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry or relevant religious studies required/accepted by chaplaincy boards.
  • Coursework/Training: 2 Units clinical pastoral education units.
  • 1 year pastoral experience.

The Non-Certified Chaplain provides professional and competent spiritual care ministry, and is responsible for serving the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of care recipients and caregivers- in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.

Shift Details: Per diem/On-call, Variable shift
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry or relevant religious studies similarly accepted in chaplaincy board certifying organizations.
  • Coursework/Training: 2 Units clinical pastoral education units.
  • 1 year pastoral experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay Range: $24.97 - $38.21
