Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Washington state is seeking a Non-Certified Chaplain to provide professional spiritual care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. Per diem/on-call and variable shifts with a base pay range listed.

The role supports a mission of caring for the vulnerable, with a focus on whole-person care within Providence’s care network. Required: Bachelor's Degree; preferred: Master's in Theology/Divinity/Spirituality/Pastoral Ministry with 2 clinical

The Non-Certified Chaplain provides professional and competent spiritual care ministry, and is responsible for serving the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of care recipients and caregivers- in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry or relevant religious studies similarly accepted in chaplaincy board certifying organizations.
• Coursework/Training: 2 Units clinical pastoral education units.
• 1 year pastoral experience.
