Job summary

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett is seeking a part-time chaplain to provide professional spiritual care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.

As a member of the healthcare team, you will support mission values and collaborate with colleagues while delivering compassionate care. A Master's in Theology and clinical pastoral education units are required. National Chaplain Certification within 3 years of hire.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry or relevant religious studies as accepted by chaplaincy boards or equivalent education/experience.
• Four clinical pastoral education units.
• Within 3 years of hire: National Chaplain Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional spiritual care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
• Be a member of the healthcare team and support the facility's mission, values, policies, and procedures in spiritual health services.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver compassionate care and support to patients, families, and staff.

The Chaplain provides professional and competent spiritual care ministry, and is responsible for serving the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of others in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. As a member of the healthcare team, the chaplain is directly responsible for the implementation of the mission, values, polices, and procedures of the Department of Spiritual Health Services and the facility in which they serve.

Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
