Job summary

The Jimmy T. Wood, LLC. is seeking a Yard Driver in Memphis who safely handles bulk material and operates yard equipment.

This role requires attention to daily paperwork and strict adherence to safety and environmental policies. Applicants should have 3+ years of diesel truck experience, be able to drive a stick shift, possess a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. The position requires varied hours, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and overnight shifts, with on-site

Qualifications

3+ years of diesel truck experience.
Must be able to drive a stick shift.
HS Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and transportation.
Ability to safely lift 50 lbs.
Ability to work varied hours including weekends, holidays, evenings, and/or overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

Move bulk material and cargo around yard.
Complete daily paperwork.
Operate all equipment safely and efficiently, complete daily pre-trip inspection.
Perform general labor tasks to assist with material processing and property maintenance, or other projects as needed.
Follow all safety and operational policies, regulations, and programs.
Successfully complete all required training programs
Monitor equipment and report any issues or concerns.
Perform other duties as assigned and assist other staff as needed.
