Job summary

Norco, Inc. is seeking a Non-CDL Route Delivery Driver for a combination store position. You will deliver and exchange full cylinders and liquid vessels, and also deliver freight on a weekly route.

The role requires safe handling of oxygen products, accurate paperwork, and compliance with DOT/FDA regulations. A strong safety mindset and reliability are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• No at fault accidents in past 3 years.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally over 100 lbs.
• Perform basic mathematics calculations.
• Ability to accurately enter data into computer and learn required software.
• Familiar with all DOT and FDA regulations as they pertain to oxygen.
• Familiar with required accreditation policies and procedures as they pertain to delivery driver activities and safety.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (cylinders, carts, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Efficiently organizes delivery route on a daily basis.
• Delivers durable medical equipment and home care items to delivery points.
• Delivers liquid and compressed gaseous oxygen to specified points of delivery.
• Protects patient PHI per HIPAA regulations.
• Retrieves rental items and places them into the rental return room.
• Completes delivery and pickup paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Assists in cleaning, disinfecting, and minor repair work on rental equipment.
• Performs daily preventive maintenance as required on assigned vehicle.
• Loads freight and fills out truck manifest accurately.

Job Description

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill ourCombination Non-CDL Route Delivery Driver position. TheCombination Non-CDL Route Delivery Driverdelivers and exchanges full cylinders and liquid vessels for empty ones and also delivers freight to customers on a weekly route stop. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Efficiently organizes delivery route on a daily basis
• Delivers durable medical equipment and other home care related equipment to specific points of delivery
• Delivers liquid and compressed gaseous oxygen to specified points of delivery
• Protects patient PHI per HIPAA regulations
• Handles the retrieval of rental return items and their proper handling and placement into the rental return room
• Completes delivery and pick-up paperwork promptly and accurately and returns it to the proper facility personnel
• Assists in cleaning, disinfecting, and minor repair work on rental equipment
• Performs daily preventive maintenance as required on assigned vehicle
• Loads freight and accurately fills out truck manifest
• Performs other tasks as assigned or necessary

• Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (picking up small cylinders, rolling large cylinders, pushing cylinder cart, hand trucks, steering truck, etc.)
