Non-CDL routes handled for trucks under 26,000 pounds. Responsibilities include securing loads, unloading at sites, logging deliveries, assisting customers, maintaining vehicle condition, and using handheld devices for DVIR and HOS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 21+ years old; valid driver's license.
• Pass MVR report.
• Obtain a DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Ability to read and speak the English language.
• Previous delivery experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Loads and appropriately secures product inside delivery vehicle.
• Delivers customer orders to specified delivery site and unloads materials safely and accurately.
• Verifies order details and maintains logs of delivery duties including amounts and weights, mileage and locations.
• Acts as a customer service liaison between BFS and the site customer; handles concerns and resolves issues.
• Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of delivery vehicles; performs routine safety checks.
• Use handheld devices to ensure DVIR and HOS compliance.
• Maintain hours of service logs and pre/post trip inspection procedures.
• May perform credit/product return pickups and related paperwork.
• Operate a Forklift or non-motorized handling equipment to load/unload materials.
• Observe safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
