Colonial Group is seeking a delivery driver to load, transport, and deliver materials to customer sites. This role requires handling products, securing loads, and providing professional service with a focus on safety and compliance.

The position involves operating delivery vehicles (non-CDL for vehicles 10,001–26,000 pounds), using handheld devices for DVIR/HOS, and performing routine vehicle inspections while coordinating with customers and BFS sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 21+ years old.
• Pass MVR report and obtain a DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Valid driver’s license; able to read and speak English.
• Less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Loads and secures product inside delivery vehicle.
• Delivers customer orders to sites and unloads materials safely.
• Verifies orders and maintains delivery logs (weights, mileage, locations).
• Serves as customer service liaison between BFS and site customer.
• Keeps delivery vehicles clean and performs routine safety checks.
• Uses handheld devices to ensure DVIR and HOS compliance.
• Maintains hours of service logs and pre/post trip inspections.
• Operates forklift or material handling equipment as needed.
• Attends safety meetings and suggests safety improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
