Job summary

Colonial Group in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) to load, transport and deliver materials to customer sites. You will operate vehicles up to 26,000 pounds and maintain safety and compliance. Strong customer service and ability to read English are required.

Must obtain a DOT medical card within five days of request and keep MVR clean. Pay is $22 per hour with lifting up to 100 pounds routinely and up to 200 pounds with assistance. Keep logs for DVIR/HOS and delivery records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years old and valid driver’s license.
• Pass MVR report.
• DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Have fewer than 5 moving violations in 5 years.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Loads and secures products inside the vehicle.
• Delivers orders to site and unloads safely and accurately.
• Verifies order details and maintains delivery logs.
• Acts as a customer service liaison and resolves issues.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs safety checks.
• Uses handheld devices to ensure DVIR/HOS compliance.
• Maintains hours of service logs and pre/post trip inspections.
• May handle credit/product returns and related paperwork.
• Operates forklift or non-motorized equipment for loading/unloading.
• Complies with safety procedures and participates in safety meetings.
