Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a dedicated delivery driver to transport materials to customer sites and ensure on-time, undamaged deliveries. The role covers loading, securing, unloading, and documenting each shipment, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Applicants must hold a Class B CDL, a valid license, and a DOT medical card. English reading/speaking ability is required, and driving duties will include using handheld devices for DVIR/HOS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years old with a valid driver's license.
• Class B CDL license required.
• Pass MVR report.
• DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Load or assist with loading and securing products inside the delivery vehicle.
• Deliver orders to customer sites and unload contents as needed.
• Verify order details and maintain logs of deliveries.
• Provide courteous customer service and resolve issues when they arise.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks.
• Use handheld devices to comply with DVIR and HOS (not while driving).
• Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and complete related paperwork.
• Operate forklift or other material handling equipment when required.
• Observe safety procedures to prevent injuries and participate in safety meetings.
