Job summary

US Foods is hiring a Non-CDL Driver in Midlothian, VA. You will drive a company vehicle (GVW up to 14,900 lbs), deliver foodservice products to multiple stops, and ensure high customer service standards.

Starting pay is $27.00/hour during training, with potential to average $45.00/hour after training through component pay (stops, miles, cases). Full-time role with benefits and safety-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license issued by the state of residence; endorsements if required.
• No commercial or professional driving experience required. One‑year of multi‑stop delivery experience preferred or six‑month local delivery experience and/or foodservice industry experience.
• Hand cart delivery experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must be able to pass DOT Physical.

Responsibilities

• Safe Driving: Deliver products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Unloading: Unload products using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand; 100% touch freight.
• Product Handling: Move products with a hand truck; navigate stairs and various delivery environments.
• Delivery Verification: Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Return Management: Document and manage returned products.
• Issue Reporting: Communicate any delivery or customer issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Equipment Inspection: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to maintain safety.
• Account Management: Handle collections and payments when applicable.
• Adaptability: Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
