Job summary

US Foods is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver in Midlothian, VA. The role starts early morning (4:30 AM) and involves delivering products safely, unloading with various methods, and verifying deliveries with customers.

You will maintain vehicle safety with pre- and post-trip inspections, support accounts as needed, and uphold a high level of customer service. Eligible drivers can earn a retention bonus and potential annual earnings up to $100,000.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid CDL Class A with DOT qualifications.
• Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience, or 3 months in food/beverage delivery.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Must register to FMCSA Clearinghouse prior to employment.
• Manual transmission experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and deliver products to customers on schedule.
• Unload products using appropriate equipment or by hand.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Provide professional customer service to ensure satisfaction.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety.
• Handle collections and payments when applicable.
