Job Summary:

The Non CDL Driver will operate a Sweeper Truck at shopping and retail centers, performing tasks such as operating the sweeper, emptying trash cans, blowing walkways, picking up large trash, and cleaning parking areas. The role requires navigating traffic, being organized, logging information accurately, and safely entering and exiting the truck multiple times per night.

Job Location: 10 Albe Dr, Newark, DE 19702
Shift/Hours: Start between 8pm and 9pm, route completion time varies.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform pre-inspection of the parking lot sweeper to ensure safety and proper operation.
2. Review assigned shopping centers and parking garages.
3. Ask questions proactively if the route is unclear.
4. Operate the air sweeper truck to remove debris and trash as per customer scope.
5. Travel safely between route stops, with up to 13 stops per night.
6. Complete tasks within the scheduled time and route.
7. Maintain quality standards of work.
8. Track completed tasks and routes as per procedures.
9. Report equipment issues, near misses, or accidents immediately.
10. Refuel the truck at the end of the shift.
11. Perform any additional duties assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s license required.
• Work outdoors in variable weather conditions.
• Exposure to noise, fumes, chemicals, and vibrations.
• Physical activity involving lifting (50+ lbs), pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching, walking, standing, and operating equipment.
• Focus and vision requirements, including the use of safety equipment.
• Use of hands to operate tools and controls.
