Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring a driver to deliver and unload food products on local routes, intrastate and interstate as needed. You will follow DOT guidelines, interact with customers, and complete required paperwork.

Shifts start early: Mon 3am, Tue 4am, Thu 4am, Fri 4am. Compensation is $22.50 per hour with full benefits and growth opportunities in a safety‑mocused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Valid non-commercial drivers license.
• 6-12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Meet all state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pre-employment drug test and road test.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections per DOT.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies; report hazards.
• Inspect and secure loaded freight; verify items and paperwork.
• Deliver orders according to schedule; unload and obtain signatures.
• Load returns and secure trailer; maintain daily hours-of-service records.
• Perform housekeeping and complete necessary paperwork; support related duties.
