Job summary

Trilogy MedWaste, Inc. is seeking a Non-CDL Driver in Albuquerque to safely collect medical waste containers from healthcare offices, drive on assigned routes, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.

The role requires operating a vehicle, maintaining logs, and performing inspections. The position offers competitive pay with benefits, PTO, and company-matched 401(k) where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have a good driving record within 3 years; no accident reported.
• Must have excellent customer service skills with other employees, customers and regulators.
• Must understand how to use computer for data entry.
• Must be able to use software app on mobile phone for manifest documentation.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Quickly adapt to changing business demands.
• Quickly grasp and adapt to new tasks, software and protocols.
• Must meet all applicable DOT and licensing requirements.
• Licensed for vehicle to be driven (min. Class C); Class A or Class B license also acceptable.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Medical Examiner’s Card (MEC).

Responsibilities

• Collect containers from health care offices
• Drive vehicle to customer location along determined route collecting material for delivery to designated location
• Report for and successfully complete all training as required
• Prepare and report pre & post trip inspections
• Maintain Driver’s Hours of Service Log as required
• Review and sign manifests and shipping papers
• Provide customer training (manifesting, packaging, etc)
• Properly label, load and secure materials for transport
• Clean, wash and refuel vehicle as needed
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management
