Job summary

Trilogy MedWaste, Inc. in Vernon, CA, is seeking a Non-CDL Driver to safely complete customer collection routes with varying schedules. You will interact with customers, employees, and regulators, following safety and compliance regulations.

The role requires professionalism and discretion in every interaction. You will use a hand truck to move containers, drive to customer locations, and perform pre/post trip inspections.

Qualifications

• Must have a good driving record within 3 years; no accident reported.
• Must have excellent customer service skills with other employees, customers and regulators.
• Must understand how to use computer for data entry.
• Must be able to use software app on mobile phone for manifest documentation.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Quickly adapt to changing business demands.
• Quickly grasp and adapt to new tasks, software and protocols.
• Must meet all applicable DOT and licensing requirements.
• Licensed for vehicle to be driven (min. Class C); Class A or Class B license also acceptable.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Medical Examiner’s Card (MEC).

Responsibilities

• Collect containers from health care offices.
• Drive vehicle to customer location along determined route collecting material for delivery to designated location.
• Report for and successfully complete all training as required.
• Prepare and report pre & post trip inspections.
• Maintain Driver’s Hours of Service Log as required.
• Review and sign manifests and shipping papers.
• Provide customer training (manifesting, packaging, etc).
• Properly label, load and secure materials for transport.
• Clean, wash and refuel vehicle as needed.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
