Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused driver who can operate a box truck (26 feet) across the Stow, OH area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily. This role offers a high degree of autonomy, stable hours, access to overtime, and good benefits. Our vehicle fleet is modern and well-maintained. What will your job involve?

1. Safely collecting, delivering, and storing our medical waste containers at customer locations
2. Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
3. Operating vehicles safely (up to 26 ft box trucks)
4. Completing deliveries on schedule and communicating any changes or challenges
5. Loading and unloading, prioritizing and organizing your truck per schedule and needs
6. Managing routes as directed by leadership, delivering timely, efficient, and effective service
7. Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours, and roadside inspections
8. Heavy lifting

What are we looking for?

1. Delivery experience involving manual handling (advantageous but not mandatory)
2. Willingness to work full-time hours, approximately 40 hours a week
3. Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
4. Clean driving record
5. A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
6. Experience operating vehicles safely (up to 26 ft box trucks)
7. Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
8. Confidence in road check levels 1 through 3
9. Proven longevity in past employment
10. On-time delivery practices
