Job summary

Imperial Brady is seeking a Non-CDL Delivery Driver in North Charleston to deliver products, unload with pallet jack and dolly, and provide excellent customer service. The role runs Monday through Friday from 7am to finish, with responsibilities including safe truck operation, cargo handling, and accurate logs.

A positive customer-focused attitude is essential. Applicants should have at least 1 year of route delivery experience, the ability to lift 50+ pounds, and must pass both DOT and Non-DOT

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam and a Non-DOT drug exam

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck with air brakes up to 25,999 GVW
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after the trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing attitude

As a Non-CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to stops per day. You will need to unload the merchandise using a hand, a pallet jack, and a dolly, and deliver it to the customer’s preferred location. Providing exceptional customer service is a crucial aspect of this role.

You will work from Monday to Friday, from 7am to Finish.

You will:

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck with air brakes up to25,999 GVW
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after the trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing attitude

You have:

• A good driving record
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
• Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam and a Non-DOT drug exam.
