Imperial Dade is hiring a Non-CDL Delivery Driver in Meridian, MS. You will deliver products, unload with pallet jack and dolly, and provide outstanding customer service as part of a growing national distributor. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m.

to 4:00 a.m. (or until the route is complete). The role requires a valid driving record, 1 year of route delivery experience, ability to lift 50+ pounds, and ability to pass DOT and Non-DOT exams; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k)

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of route delivery experience.
• Experience operating pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Must pass DOT and Non-DOT medical/drug exams.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer stops according to route plan.
• Unload merchandise using pallet jack, hand truck, and lift gate.
• Accurately track activity logs and report issues to dispatch.
• Inspect vehicle before and after trips and maintain safety.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at each stop.

As a Non-CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to stops per day. You will need to unload the merchandise using a hand, a pallet jack, and a dolly, and deliver it to the customer's preferred location. Providing exceptional customer service is a crucial aspect of this role.

You will work from Monday to Friday, from 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 a.m. (or until the daily route is completed).

You will:

• Safely operate a 26' box truck with air brakes up to 25,999 GVW
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after the trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing attitude

You have:

• A good driving record
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
• Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam and a Non-DOT drug exam.
