Job summary

Imperial Brady in Milford, CT is seeking a qualified Driver (Straight Truck)/Class B Delivery Driver to join our transportation team. You will handle a 20-25 stop daily route, unloading via hand, pallet jack, and lift gate, and delivering to customer locations with exceptional service.

The role runs Monday–Friday starting at 5:30am, with a focus on safety and accuracy. A CDL-B, one year of route delivery, and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Must pass a DOT Medical Exam.
• A good driving record.
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience.
• 1 year of route delivery experience.
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds unassisted.
• Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 24' box truck (GVW 26,000) on a 20–25 stop daily route.
• Load and unload cargo via hand, pallet jack, and lift gate.
• Track and document activity logs.
• Report issues to dispatch.
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip.
• Maintain positive, professional communication with customers.

The Driver (Straight Truck)/Class B Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of 20-25 stops daily. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering products and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 5:30am-finish.

You will:

• Safely operate a 24' box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude

You have:

• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
