Qualifications

Job description
Required to operate 26’ and 28’ straight trucks in a safe and professional manner at all times
Delivers products to customers on time, while providing complete customer service
Ensures route material is loaded and organized properly
Transfers materials and items from truck to dock area or other designated area by hand, hand truck, manual pallet jack, or electric pallet jack
Provides, completes and retains customer paperwork to include OS&D
Serves as client representative communicating feedback to branch leadership
Backhauls as required
Maintains DOT logs daily and complies with all other DOT procedures/regulations
Conducts Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections of truck and associated equipment in compliance with DOT regulation
Maintains a clean, organized and safe work environment
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial transportation or a graduate of an accredited truck driving school
Possess knowledge of all applicable State and Federal DOT regulations
Capacity to read and correctly interpret route manifests and invoices
Ability and willingness to work varying routes and required overtime as assigned by Supervisor
Must be able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation (occasionally 60-75 lbs.)
Previous experience with an Automatic On-Board Recording Device (AOBRDs) such as OMNI Trax is preferred
