Job summary

Hajoca is seeking a Delivery Driver Non CDL who is friendly, safety-minded, and able to work independently. You will operate trucks safely, load and unload, obtain signatures, and provide excellent customer service at job sites and customer facilities.

The ideal candidate is at least 21, has a valid drivers license, passes the DOT physical, and can follow instructions and keep accurate records. This role requires attention to safety and the ability to handle occasional stressful situations

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive a vehicle over 10,000 lbs.
• At least 21 years old.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Pass a Department of Transportation physical examination before starting and every two years while employed.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely and in compliance with company rules and applicable laws.
• Load the truck with Hajoca merchandise and secure loads for transport.
• Understand and review shipping documents and navigate to delivery destinations.
• Obtain signatures for all delivered merchandise and collect outstanding cash for cash-only deliveries.
• Interface with customers at delivery sites to resolve discrepancies quickly and accurately.
• Load truck at vendor locations or other heaps as needed and provide sales leads.
• Inspect vehicle and equipment; report any mechanical issues to management.
• Complete daily vehicle inspection reports when required.
