Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Delivery Driver in California to ensure timely delivery of goods, review orders for accuracy, and manage loading/unloading of items. The role requires operating vehicles under 26,001 lbs GVWR, maintaining routes, and coordinating with Dispatch for on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, following safety standards, and assisting with equipment handling and vehicle maintenance as directed by the Warehouse Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License with at least 2 years driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• GVWR under 26,001 lbs knowledge.
• Basic computer skills.
• Exceptional customer service.
• Familiarity with GPS/routing systems.
• Ability to drive long hours.

Responsibilities

• Drive Encore owned, leased, or rented vehicles including vans and box trucks under 26,001 lbs.
• Maintain set routes and schedules to meet customer expectations.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Review orders for accuracy during delivery and pickup.
• Ensure contents are secured inside the truck.
• Obey traffic laws and adapt to weather/road conditions.
• Complete manual or electronic logs as required.
